Alumni and students filled hundreds of seats in Burr Gymnasium to watch Greek organizations and campus step teams compete for a cash prize in the annual Homecoming Step Show. 

The vision behind the show was drawn from the dynamic evolution of hip-hop culture over the years, as each model successfully and uniquely personified the subtle but influential impacts of different coasts, seen in the distinctive walking styles, outfits, and songs to match.

Howard University hosted its annual Yardfest concert on Oct. 20 kicking off the highly-anticipated homecoming weekend. Despite fluctuating weather conditions, thousands gathered to indulge in music, food, and a variety of vendors.
