Grammy-award-winning artist Doja Cat is known for experimenting with outfits that continue to leave social media buzzing. Cover 2 Cover has compiled eight of her most eye-turning serves that we can’t get enough of!

Grunge GirL 

Doja Cat posted Instagram selfies in December showcasing her unique blonde mullet updo paired with her smokey eye makeup and a dark lip. Doja’s silver layered necklaces top off the look, making it simply stunning.

Ruby Red 

Recently at Paris Fashion Week, which began January 17, Doja stepped out in an all-red bedazzled ensemble that took Twitter by storm. Doja was covered with 30,000 red Swarovski crystals. Designed by Schiaparelli, the gems, the gown, and the earrings all complement each other tastefully in this red-hot masterpiece. Doja truly stood out from the rest of the crowd, beginning Paris Fashion Week on the right note! 

“Mustlash” 

 On January 25, Doja shared pictures in this witty get-up, which she wore to Viktor and Rolf’s Paris Week couture show. Doja rocked facial hair made out of false eyelashes in response to fans and critics who claimed her red Swarovski look was missing lashes. “If lashes are what you all want, lashes are what you’ll get,” said the star on her Instagram story.

Doja Addams 

Doja’s most recent Fashion Week outfit seamlessly pairs the extravagance and irony found within gothic and camp-style aesthetics. The 27-year-old took to Instagram once more to debut her all-black Valentino outfit. The artist’s purse, a $20,000, crystal-covered Patrón bottle designed by Chris Habana, is a statement piece that adds even more flamboyance to the seemingly muted outfit. Doja’s jet-black bangs and invisible brows are the icing on the cake!

Have A Seat 

Viewers that night could not believe their eyes when Doja appeared on stage wearing a chair on her head. The corset dress from Andreas Kronthaler’s Spring 2019 collection for Vivienne Westwood, has horses printed on it. The printed horses and the dagger around her waist add layers of character to the outfit. Doja’s understated hair and makeup add an effortless touch to what is otherwise a peculiar fashion moment.

The Worm 

On the same night, Doja wore a multicolored, worm-like costume, to the amusement of fans on social media.  “I look like a worm. That’s dope.”, Doja exclaimed on stage, as she accepted the “Best Collaboration Award” for “Kiss Me More” featuring SZA. 

According to Doja’s creative director and stylist, Brett Allan Nelson, the Thom Browne dress almost did not make it to the VMA stage. 

"At first [Doja] was like, 'I'm obsessed with this. I want to wear it.' And then the day before the show, she got a little nervous and she was like, 'I don't know if it's right,'”  Nelson told Entertainment Tonight. "And then we got to show day and I was like, 'We have to do this look.' And she's like, 'I know, it's perfect,'” Nelson added.

I’m a Cow

Doja Cat’s fashion choices are a source of inspiration for her music. Back in 2018, the artist dropped her viral hit “Moo”, which she says was based on a cow costume that she was playing around in one day. 

“ I love cosplay—not cosplay in a nerdy way, I just like to dress up,” the California native told HighSnobiety. 

Doja’s love for cosplay is demonstrated through the clothes that she sports. Many of the star’s outfits have a costume nature as if she is playing dress-up and creating a character. No two Doja outfits are the same. Doja Cat’s style is fun, fresh, unorthodox, and authentically her.
